Jonathan Horsford, PhD, ACC 

Jonathan is an erstwhile Canadian with a passion for connecting science with leadership. 

After receiving his PhD in neuroscience, he began a career at the National Institutes of Health in science administration. During his NIH tenure, Jonathan has been exposed to a variety of scientific careers as part of the biomedical research ecosystem. Jonathan’s two years as the Deputy Director of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research has given him unique insights into the challenges facing scientists in executive leadership. 

As an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and graduate of the Georgetown Institute of Transformational Leadership executive coaching program, Jonathan is leveraging his research and coaching experience to advance the careers of scientists and technical experts. Jonathan’s current clients include biomedical researchers, clinician scientists, leaders in health and science non-profits, military service members, government employees, and individuals in the field of technology development.
