Jonathan Horsford, PhD, ACC 

Jonathan is a PhD-trained neuroscientist and an executive leader with over 20 years experience at the National Institutes of Health. Jonathan’s unique background gives him insights into coaching, for example, seeing the power of curiosity in science which is essential to leadership, regardless of the organization. 

During Jonathan’s two years as the Deputy Director of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, he recognized the pressing need for coaching in scientific and government leadership and obtained his leadership coaching certificate from Georgetown University. Jonathan is an Associate Certified Coach with clients in a variety of scientific, clinical, non-profit, policy, and corporate organizations.

Jonathan co-partners with clients to embrace their identity to unlock their leadership potential. His superpower is connecting with clients through compassion, curiosity, humor, and radical acceptance. Jonathan is committed to meeting the unique personal, cultural, and systemic challenges faced by his clients. Coaching brings him joy, and he is dedicated to building a trusting relationship with his clients and celebrating their accomplishments.
